YuHan Liu
Hello, my name is Yuhan Liu, and I a Sophomore at UTD. Some of my favorite hobbies are painting, drawing, and playing my flute. I have completed every year since freshman in the VASE Scholastic event, and have received medals for the artwork each time. I also received first-division ratings for solo and ensemble in the band. I do well in academics, and would enjoy learning about new things! As well as helping people! Some of my qualities are quick learner, being patient with others, and problem-solving.
Andrew Lin
Hello, my name is Andrew Lin, and I'm a Sophomore at UT Austin! Some of my hobbies include basketball, volleyball, computer science, piano, and acting. This year, I am going to be a part of the board of advisors for YSL which is reserved for college freshmen and seniors that have served a leadership role in the organization. I will be helping out in every department, overseeing that everything goes smoothly and offering any suggestions that would help. I’m really looking forward to being a part of this organization for another year!
Jerry Yan
My name is Jerry Yan, and I’m a freshman at UT Austin. I have a passion for playing basketball, playing the violin, solving Rubik’s cube, performing magic, and creating 3D models. I often do volunteer activities in my free time as it really fulfills me and truly makes me delighted to see how I can help others. I began my journey with YSL as the Director of the Coaching Department for more than a year. I am very excited to help make YSL grow bigger and help out the community more.
Vivian Zhang
​Hello! I’m Vivian, a college freshman at UTD. I’m a cellist outside of school and the president of a dance club at my school. I enjoy collaborating with others very much and I also enjoy working hard to accomplish the goals I have set for myself. I’m very honored to be one the advisory board, and I hope that we achieve the goals that we have set for the future!
Alex Wang
Hello! My name is Alex Wang, a senior at Allen High. I enjoy participating in robotics, coding, debate, and basketball. I am a part of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and the Allen High School Student Council. As part of my interest in robotics, I have been an active part of the Allen High School Robotics team for the past year, traveling to events and competitions. I am also occasionally volunteering at different events across the Dallas area ranging from clubs to non-profits. Overall, I am excited to be a part of YSL!
Andrew Wang
Hello, I’m Andrew Wang, a 12th-grade student at Allen High School. I’m passionate about basketball, cello, and piano, with a particular love for math. My dream is to become a software or hardware engineer due to my fascination with computers and coding. Being a member of the robotics team for four years, I’ve achieved notable success, including winning awards and securing second and first places in state competitions. Additionally, I earned a spot in the all-region orchestra in 8th grade and received trophies from piano competitions. I find joy in teaching STEM subjects and spent 200 hours volunteering at my father’s robotics camp this summer. As a basketball and STEM enthusiast, I’m eager to share my knowledge and contribute to teaching opportunities in these topics.
Matthew Tian
Hello everyone! My name is Matthew Tian, and I’m in twelfth grade at Allen High School. My favorite hobbies are playing tennis, playing basketball, and singing in my school choir. The school choir is especially fun, and I’m happy to be there every time. I am a quick learner, which is one of my best qualities. I have decent knowledge of spreadsheets and managing money which is why I was assigned to be Director of Fundraising. I hope to assist this organization in whatever way possible.
Audrey Li
My name is Audrey, and I’m currently a senior at TAMS. I’m serving as the Vice President this year, and outside of school I love reading, art, piano, and music. I have past leadership in Varsity Choir, TAMS dance, robotics, and NHS. I am excited to see YSL continue to grow and flourish this year!
